The McCreary County Record reports that the McCreary County Board of Education recently awarded its insurance contract for property and workers’ compensation coverage to the Kentucky School Board Insurance Trust (KSBIT), previously administered by the Kentucky School Board Association (KSBA), but recently taken over and presently run by the insurance arm of the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC).  KSBIT, tendering the lowest of two bids considered, was awarded the contract by unanimous vote of the board.
