He received his B.A. from Union College, his M.A. from the University of Cincinnati, and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Marc has practice experience in multiple areas of the law including estate and probate law, criminal law, family law, and general civil law. He has spent the largest part of his career handling workers’ compensation claims. Roland has represented clients, appeared before Administrative Law Judges and presented arguments to the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Board, the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court in over 1,000 matters.  Marc is also a trained mediator, a trained meeting facilitator, and has been a featured consultant with HG.org. Roland has presented at a variety of seminars and is the editor of Roland Legal’s award winning blog OUCH! He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the Kentucky courts and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky.
